摘要
世纪之交 ,我们就现代语音学百年的历史、现状及发展方向访问了林焘教授。林先生认为 ,现代语音学的历史可以分成五个阶段 ;研究语音学 ,除了必须具备语音学知识 ,还需要具备方言学、音韵学以及现代的实验手段等方面的知识 ;现在 ,语音学是冷门 ,只要年轻人肯于朝理科方向靠拢 ,语音学一定能够有大发展。
We visit Prof. Lin Tao about the history, current status and developing direction of modern phonetics. Prof. Lin claims that the history of modern phonetics can be divided into five stages; in addition to basic phonetic knowledge, the knowledge in dialectology, historical phonology and experiment methods are also important for studying phonetics. As long as young researchers steadily increase their knowledge in the field of science, they will make a great progress in phonetics.
