This paper lists the features of the construction of Zhengzhou power cable tunnels and the problems that occur when the construction is carried out in accordance with the conventional excavation method with shallow overburden,and introduces the measures and experience to sove these problems,speed up the construction progress and to ensure the quality and safety of the construction.
