摘要
从结构、选题内容、编辑校对、印刷装订、发行等出版环节阐述了书刊整体质量的现状，指出当前书刊质量差的问题依然十分严重和突出，提出了推行出版物全面质量管理的客观性和必要性，并介绍了全面质量管理的含义、特征。
The present situation Of boks and periodica1s' quality managernent is analyzed from the views of subject Planning, editing, examining and publishing. It is pointed out that the books and periodicals' quality in nowadays is not good, and this problem will exist for long time. bo it is very important to carry out total quality contro. The contents and characteristions of total quality contro are introduced in this paper.
