This paper discusses the development of the Web disk system based on Linux operating system. The Web disk system runs in management of explorer and provides the service of network storage. In addition ,it also provides powerful functions to users' management and integrates system-managing services. These services not only convenience the usage of the system, but also optimize the whole performance of the system.
