Evolution of Xue Fu-cheng's Reform Thought in The Course of Social Transition in Chinese Modern History

在中国近代社会转型的过程中 ,薛福成经历了由地主阶级改革派、封建官僚洋务派到资产阶级改良派三个不同的发展阶段 ,形成了极具时代特色的早期改良思想。分析他的思想演变过程、主要内容及其特征 ,将对了解和评价中国民族资产阶级的改良思想及其历史地位提供一定的历史依据。

In the course of social transition in Chinese modern history Xue Fu-cheng's reform thought experienced three different stages of development--from that of reformists of landlord class,that of Westernizationists of feudal bureaucrat to that of reformists of bourgeoisie,and at last,the thought of early reformism with strong feature of times.To analyse the evolution of his thought,its main content and features will provide historical basis for us to understand and appraise the reformism idea of Chinese national bourgeosie and its place in history.
