The supply and demand situations of domestic chlor-alkali products are analysed.It is predicted that the output and consumption of chlor-alkali products in the year 2001 will increase almost simultaneously with a little increase in demand,competition will be keen in east China market,there will be seasonal fluctuation within a narrow range between March and July,domestic alkali output will be affected by price change of chloroproducts in the world market.Problems exsiting in domestic chlor-alkali industry are also analysed,which include development is being restricted by non-combination with petrochemical industry,production capacity is small and scattered and equipment level is poor with high consumption of raw materials and energy,development level of organic chloroproducts is low.
