In terms of its history and social factors involved in relative legislation, this paper deals with the problem of inquisition under torture and confession extortion in the administration of justice. Furthermore, as a study of countermeasures, it puts forward reasonable suggestions concerning the building of legislative teams, the institution of laws and the perfection of legislations.
