用全面、发展的观点 ,对巴金巨著《激流三部曲》的中心人物——觉新的形象进行重新认识 ,认为觉新在年轻与年老的两代人之间 ,在新与旧的思想斗争中 ,始终站在前者一边 ;他不是封建势力的“帮凶”,而是个善良的“好人”,是做了“坏事”的好人。他的种种经历和不幸的遭遇 ,使他在封建势力的压迫下逐渐清醒 。

This paper offers a new, dynamic and comprehensive understanding of Jue Xin, protagonist in the Torrent Trilogy , the masterpiece by the famous Chinese man of letter Ba Jin. It is demonstrated that between the young generation and the old one, and between the outdated concepts and the new ones, Jue Xin is always for the former. Although he used to lend aid to feudalism and act negatively, he is not an accomplice of the feudal society but a character kind and positive in nature. Awaked by his sufferings, misfortunes and the oppression of the feudal society, he developed from a weak figure into a warrior fighting against the evil forces.
