This paper presents the building of virtual instrument w orkshop for testing switch mode power supplies based on HP I/O libraries.By test ing one type forward high frequency switch mode power supply,authors illustrate in detail how to build and enlarge virtual instrument workshop and what are the functions of the software set up in the computer.During the operating process,t he virtual instrument workshop features significance for testing the performance of switch mode power supplies compared with general testing instruments.
