Study on Boundary Tracking Method used in Image Processing

本文介绍了一种以边缘跟踪法进行边缘提取的新方法 ,叙述了该方法的基本原理 ,分析了它与传统图像处理方法相比较的优点。该方法经在视觉检测传感器中的应用 ,证明其在图形较简单的情况下 ,可完成与传统边缘检测方法相同的工作 ,但具有相当快的运算速度 ,足以实现实时检测 ,实时处理 。

In this paper a new method of edge detection with boundary tracking is introduced.Principle of the method is presented.Advantage compared to traditional image processing method is analyzed.Through the ap- plication used in structured light sensor,boundary tracking can accomplish same task as traditional method in the condition that image is simply,but with very fast processing speed,which makes it possible that real- time inspection,real- time processing,and real- time display.
