A Boxcar Method for Process Data Compression and its Performance Analysis

提出了一种改进的矩形波串法，用实际数据进行了离线仿真并分析了算法的性能，结果表明改进算法优于原算法，可用于现场总线节点过程数据压缩．

Boxcar method is used generally to compress process data with simple and good real-time performance of compression and restoration. A modified boxcar method is presented to enhance its performance, and its algorithm is analyzed by offiine simulation based on practical process data, which demonstrates that the modified algorithm is better than the original. The modified method can be applied to compress process data received by fieldbus nodes.
