摘要
伴随着确定性的终结 ,个体自由不仅是至高无上的价值观 ,而且也是个体无法逃避的命运。然而 ,我们在获得自由的同时却失去了安全感 ;世界被感知为极其不确定的、不可控制的和令人可怕的。个体自由需要集体 /社会的保护 ,但是 ,我们决不应“为了社会的目的”而牺牲个体自由。
With the end of certainty, freedom is not only the supreme value, but also the inescapable fate for individuals.We achieve the freedom but at the cost of the security; the world is experienced as overwhelmingly uncertain,uncontrollable and frightening. Freedom needs the collective protection,but we should not sacrifice the individual freedoms'for the sake of society'.
