从广义上来说,英语套语包括的范围很广,是语言研究中非常重要的言语材料.套语在话语交际中具有规约性和复现性的明显特征.套语的使用对语境有提示功能,有助于实现社交目的和语言习得捷径化.遵守会话的礼貌原则和合作原则在套语使用中十分重要.
Since formulaic language covers a wide range of subjects, it becomes a quite important element in linguistic study. It possesses the features of regularity and reursiveness in discourt. It helps to indicate the context and realize the discourse purposes, provides a short — cut in acquisition processing as well. We should abide by the politeness principle and cooperative principle in using the formulaic language.
