A Contrastive Analysis of English-Chinese Euphemism of Physiological Phenomena

英汉两种语言都有大量的委婉语.它们既有同但更有异.本文对几种主要的"生理现象"的委婉语的表达形式、文化内涵等进行对比分析,以加深对这一问题的认识.

There are many euphemisms both in English and Chinese. English\|Chinese euphemisms have many similarities but much more differences. This paper makes and English\|Chinese contrastive analysis of the expressive forms and the cultural connotations of a few main physiological phenomena's euphemisms, which attempts to further the study of euphemism.
