Government and market: a debate on two theorems -concurrent discussion on the problem of economic transformation

政府与市场的关系是经济学迄今为止争论两个世纪的热点问题，争论的焦点之一是：在实行市场经济体制的国家中，实行自由放任的市场经济还是国家干预的市场经济。目前，这一争论已导向微现经济领域。两个定理之争反映了这一趋势。基于此，有必要对两个定理之争进行评价与总结，这对正处于向市场经济转轨的我国来讲有理论启发意义。

What kind of relation between government and market should be seems to be a hot problem that has been debated for two centuries up to now. One of the focal points for this debate is whether a market -centered economy should be free and uncontrolled or engaged by state? Such a kind of debate has been extended to the field of micro-economy at present. One can also easily find this trend from the so -called debate of two theorems. In view of this situation, it is necessary to evaluate the debate of two theorems and even give it a conclusion. This effort is theoretically significant for China that is being transformed toward market-centered economy.
