赌博陋习起源甚早 ,危害极大 ,自古被列为“十恶”之一加以禁止。新中国成立后赌博陋习基本铲除 ,但 2 0世纪 80年代以来由于多种因素的影响 ,农村赌博陋习死灰复燃 ,并且愈演愈烈 。

Bad habits of gambling originated very early and had tremendous harmfulness. They have been rated as one of 'ten evils'and banned since ancient times. After the founding of new China, bad habits of gambling have been basically eradicated. Yet since 1980s,the bad habits in rural areas have revived and become more and more serious because of various factors. Only various measures must be taken to comprehensively administer can the bad habits be eradicated.
