可及性理论与前指现象

Accessibility Theory and Anaphora

本文首先从理论基础、指称词语编码原则及其可及性等级等方面介绍了 Ariel所提出的可及性理论 ,然后分析了其特点 ,最后对前指现象和可及性理论与前指的关系进行了评介。本文认为 ,可及性理论的主要特点在于其普遍性、研究角度的多样性和对指称词语可及性等级划分的细致性 ;但是对前指现象的研究还应包括对话题的研究 。

This article firstly introduces the theoretical foundation, encoding principles of references and the scale of accessibility of the accessibility theory suggested by Ariel. Then analyses are carried out into the main features of the theory. Lastly a brief introduction is given to anaphora and some comments are made on the relationship between the accessibility theory and anaphora. It is believed in this article that the main features of accessibility theory include its popularity, diversifiedness in research angles, and the detailedness in the accessibility scale of references. However, the study of anaphora should also include the study of topic, because references constitute only one part of anaphora.
