Right Views on Our Party's Representation of the Advancement of China's Advanced Culture──On Jiang's Speech at the Celebration of the Eightieth Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC

江泽民同志“三个代表”重要思想 ,充分体现了我们党的性质、宗旨和历史使命。始终坚持代表中国先进文化的前进方向 ,就是要顺应先进文化及其发展的客观要求 ,牢牢把握文化变革的主导权 ,发展有中国特色的社会主义文化。要坚持马列主义、毛泽东思想和邓小平理论在思想文化领域的主导地位 ,加强思想道德建设 ,大力倡导科学精神 ,坚持物质文明与精神文明的共同进步。

At the celebration of the Eightieth Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC, Secretary general Jiang made an important speech, in which he has expounded the 'Three Representatives' and asked for an right understanding and an all round implementation of 'Three Representatives'. So the speech has fully embodies the nature, aim, and historical duty of our Party. Adhering to the representation of the advancement of China's advanced culture necessitates conforming to the development of advanced culture, grasping the leadership in the culture transformation, upholding the banner of scientific spirit, enforcing the construction of ideology and morality and developing the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics. And the representation also requires for the leadership of Marxism Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, and Deng Xiaoping Theory in ideology and culture, and joint development of material and moral civilizations.
