太极拳不宜继续作为竞技武术比赛项目

Shadowboxing should no longer be included as an event of competitive Wushu

太极拳曾为竞技武术的发展做出过重要贡献。但太极拳柔和、缓慢、轻灵的技术特点使它不具有竞技体育所需要的观赏价值 ,它的比赛也缺少竞技体育所必须的区分度 ,所以太极拳不宜继续作为竞技武术的比赛项目。如果太极拳脱离了竞赛规则的限制 ,将以更自由、更多姿的方式 ,在更大的范围内得到更全面的推广和发展。

Shadowboxing has contributed much to the development of competitive sports.But its characteristics which are mainly manifested by its softness,slowness and agility have excluded it from being appreciative.Its competition lacks the differentiation of competitive sports.Therefore,it should no longer be included as an event of competitive Wushu.It is hoped that Shadowboxing will be more popular in its freer and more variant forms after it is no longer limited by the competitive rules.
