In order to meet the needs for the development of knowledge economy,this paper firstly puts forward the quality requirements for to train the trinity talents of modern mechanical engineering and the same requirements for colleges of engineering. Secondly, it mainly discusses how to implement the training of trinity talent. That is, clearly define the dialectical relationship among design, productcon and management; develop reforms of syllabus and teaching system; carry out the continuing education of teachers; build and strengthen the teaching base; apply multiple teaching methods and techniques and firmly ensure the teaching time, etc.
