The article describes eaves tiles with animal, plant and cloud motifs unearthed in Xian Yang, which used to be the capital of the Qin Dynasty. Based on the spot from which the articles were unearthed and the layers of soil,the authors have identified them to the standard articles for the Warring States Period and the Qin Dynasty
