随着经济全球化和金融一体化进程的加快,全球金融由分业经营向混业经营发展的趋势日益明显,金融控股公司作为混业经营的模式之一,成为许多金融机构积极推进的目标。金融控股公司在国外已经有较长时间的历史,但在我国还算是新生事物,在已经加入世界贸易组织5年的形势下,加强对金融控股公司的研究,对于规范我国现有的金融控股公司,增强金融业的国际竞争力,防范和化解金融风险,具有十分重要的现实意义。

with the progress of economic globalization and financial integration,the trend from segregated operation to joint operation is clearer on world finance.As a mode of joint operation,the Financial Holding Company Limited(hereafter refer to as'FHCL')has become the target of many financial institutions.The FHCL has a long history in foreign country,but it is still a new thing in China.With the China' s accession to WTO,enhancing the research on the FHCL will have significant impact on the standardization of semi-FHCL,improving the financial productivity and the ability of competition of the Chinese f'mancial institu- tions in the international market,as well as keeping away and dissolving the financial risk.
