Acoustics of interrogative intonations in the Uygur language

维吾尔语有丰富的疑问词和疑问句式,而单独用语调来承载疑问语气的句子主要出现在回声问句中。为了搞清楚维吾尔语疑问语调的声学特征,该文通过与陈述语调的对比,发现维语疑问语调的声学特征主要体现在句末音节,相比于陈述语调的渐降走势,疑问句的末音节基频走势是上扬的。与陈述句相比,疑问语调的其他声学特征主要表现在句末音强较大,音长较长,而整个句子的句长较短。所考察的5个音点在这些特征上都体现了相同的趋势。女性的疑问语调特征比男性运用得更明显。

There are many interrogative words and sentence patterns in the Uygur language.Sentences that query information only by intonation mainly use the Echo Question Pattern.Comparison of the statement intonation showed that the acoustic characteristics of the interrogative intonation are mainly manifested in the final syllables of a sentence.Compared with descending trend of the statement intonation,the final syllables of the interrogative sentence increase in tone.
