正畸治疗需要客观评价指标指数的研究进展

Research progress of the occlusion index:Objective evaluation criteria of orthodontic treatment need

错畸形包括从个别正常到严重影响口腔功能的错,要评价一个个体是否需要正畸治疗是非常困难的,它不仅取决于个体错畸形严重程度,还受到个体主观愿望的影响。本文对正畸治疗需要的客观评价指标指数的研究进展进行了综述。

Malocclusion is composed of a variety types of occlusions from individual normal occlusions to those that effect the oral function to a great extent. It is very difficult to evaluate the necessity to receive the orthodontic treatment of an individual, for it is not only decided by the severity of the individual malocclusion, but also effected by the subjective need. In this review, research progress of the objective evaluation criteria of the orthodontic treatment need, the occlusion idex, is discussed.
