The Research Boom of the Social History of Irrigation Works

上世纪90年代中期以来,特别是进入新世纪,水利社会史研究在国内蓬勃兴起,由于参与学者学术背景不同,治学方法相异,因而对水利社会的研究形成了多样化研究路径,为进一步拓展区域社会史研究视野提供了新平台。

Since the mid 1990s, there has been a boom in the study of social history of irrigation in China. With various academic backgrounds and methods of research, there appeared diversified approaches to the study, which provided a new platform for the expansion of researches into regional social history.
