As a kind of particular etiquette and custom,festival has its own cultural characteristics.Therefore,the reason for the decline of traditional festival can not be attributed to the decline of traditional culture in a simple way.On the contrary,the answer would be found in the analysis of the origin,form and cultural function of Chinese traditional festivals.Only in this way,can the concrete suggestion on how to protect and explore the traditional festivals be put forward.
