当阳,湖北省宜昌市县级市,地处长江中游,属西南方言区。本文就部分方言词,通过声韵对照关系来考查在古汉语中的情况,追溯其本字,借此来了解楚地的民风民俗和汉语的流变情况。

Dangyang,a county level city in Hubei Yichang,is situated at the Yangtze River middle reaches and belongs to the southwest dialect area.This article takes part of the dialcet words by examining through the sound and final comparison relations in the situation of ancient Chinese to trace its original form of a character and to know the custom of the chu place and the changing situation of chinese.
