地方理工科院校英语专业人才培养模式现状调查

Investigation into the English-major Cultivation Modes in Local Colleges and Universities of Science and Technology

由于理工科院校有自身的学科特色,其英语专业人才培养也有其独特性。对50所地方理工科院校英语专业人才定位、课程设置等方面的现状进行了调查与分析,针对地方理工科院校英语专业人才培养方面存在的问题,提出了相应建议。

The distinctive English program is required of the local colleges and universities of science and technology due to their disciplinary characteristics.The paper reports the results of an investigation via Internet into 50 local colleges and universities of science and technology in the following two aspects: the program orientation for English majors and the curriculum design.Based on the discussion of the results,several suggestions are put forward.
