The paper introduced the cause and harm of partial discharge in power cable,and principle of Oscillating Wave Test System,then takes example for one piece of cable,specially introduced on-site application of Oscillating Wave Test System in partial discharge test and localization,summarized the experience and skills in testing and analyzing with OWTS.
