四川省乐山市通过"假日体育"带动体育事业全面发展,为小城市发展体育提供一种模式。从假日体育活动产生的基础,以及假日体育活动的内容着手,分析乐山市几年来的假日体育活动对全民健身的促进和体育产业的推动,并对假日体育活动的持续发展提出建议:扩大全民健身影响,提高体育人口比例;转变消费观念,引导体育健康消费;培育体育经济市场,吸引民间资本投入。
