摘要
作为一项介绍与推销商品的应用工具,广告在当今社会已经成为商品经济的必要手段,广告英语的语言特征及社会功能也越来越受重视。本文结合大量来自英文原版杂志的广告实例,从词法特点、句法特点和修辞特点3个方面分析了广告英语的语言特点。
As an applied tool to introduce and sell goods,advertising becomes a necessary means of commercial economy in modern informative society,and the linguistic characteristics of advertising English and its function are regarded more and more important.This paper analyzes the characteristics of advertising English from the aspects of morphology,syntax and rhetorical devices based on lots of practical examples of advertisements from original English magazines.
