A Contrastive Study between Halliday's and Martin's Context Analysis Models

韩礼德的语域分析模式和马汀的语类分析模式是同属系统功能语言学流派的语境分析模式,后者又是对于前者的继承和发展,却在基本概念的界定和核心概念所处的理论层次上存在诸多的差异,而正是这些差异预示了语境研究发展的未来方向。

The two models of context analysis in Systemic-Functional School,Halliday s register analysis and Martin s genre analysis(as the successor of the former one) have different definitions of the two basic concepts "register" and "genre",and put them in different theoretical strata.And these differences show clearly the further studies on context.
