探讨“注意”在大学英语写作教学中的作用

The Function of Noticing' in the Teaching of College English Writing:——An Analysis of Morphological Errors

"注意"(Noticing)一词在认知心理学和二语习得领域是一个颇具争议性的术语。研究者们对此讨论了多年,而关于"注意"的概念,Schmidt的定义是较普遍被认可的一种。关于"注意"在语言学习中的作用问题仍然没有统一的看法。针对以上关于"注意"理论的研究,本文研究的中心是验证Schmidt的"注意假说",论证"注意"在语言教学尤其是在写作教学中的作用。研究将范围缩小,只从写作中词语形态错误的角度讨论"注意"在大学英语教学中的角色及其显著作用。对以上问题的研究,作者采用写作测试、分组采用不同方式进行课堂教学及问卷调查等方式进行。通过试验研究及数据分析,作者得出"注意"的确在语言输入到语言吸收的过程中起着重要作用,证实了Schmidt等人的观点。相信本研究的结论会对外语写作教学有一定的启示。
