EFL Learners' Needs for Additional Cultural Meanings of Words in English-Chinese Learner's Dictionaries

词汇意义主要由概念意义和一组附加意义构成,其中包括文化附加意义。在跨文化交际中,文化附加意义起着重要的作用。词典是对词汇意义的记录和描写,是英语学习者最重要的参考工具。但是,通过实证研究发现国内编制的英汉学习词典在阐释文化附加意义方面还不能满足学习者的需求,还存在不少有待改进的空间,应从宏观、中观、微观三个层面系统地阐释词汇的文化附加意义。
