摘要
运用实例方法研究2007年英、美大学图书情报学专业排名居前几位院校的硕士教育,英美两国图书情报专业硕士教育的培养目标呈现突出学生实践能力培养、重视学生沟通技能和领导才能培养的特点;其培养模式主要采取基于高学分的弹性学制,并以学位论文为毕业考核主要内容,美国还采取双学位培养模式;英美两国硕士课程类型多样,除了传统的授课方式外,还有大量的专题课、讨论课、实习课等。对美英图书情报学硕士教育的现状和培养动向的分析为我国图书情报学硕士教育提供了良好的借鉴。
