Susan Bassnett s cultural translation theory is an important one. It emphasizes that translation should satisfy the need of target culture and the reader s acceptance is an important standard of translation. This theory has provided a good perspective for the translation of cultural information in films. From this perspective,this paper attempts to explore the problems in this area.
