Tracheal stenosis is a kind of severe complication with significant morbidity and mortality, which is caused by primary tracheal diseases, or by a variety of lesions around the trachea. As an effective and safe technique, interventional procedure has been successfully practiced in treating tracheal stenosis. Nowadays, airway stenting and balloon dilatation have become the most commonly used methods for the relieve of tracheal stenosis.
