浅谈佛经翻译与《圣经》翻译的历史进程及其理论对比

On the Historical Process and Theoretical comparison of the Translation to Buddhist Scriptures and the"Bible"

在中西方翻译历史的发展进程中,中国对佛经的翻译活动和西方世界对《圣经》的翻译历程分别体现了中西方对翻译各自的认识和理解。本文在对中西方宗教翻译历史做了简要回顾的同时,也对二者的翻译理论进行了大致的比较,以期从中发现中西方翻译传统的相似性及差异性。

With the development of translating history of both the oriental and western worlds,the translations to Buddhist scriptures and the Bible reflect their respective knowledge and understanding owned by both sides.This paper tries to find out some si milarities and differences hidden behind the translation traditions of both parties through making a brief comparison on their translation theories as well as reviewing their religious translating history.
