摘要
寓言和象征这两个文学基础理论范畴已被广泛地运用到其他艺术门类。从词源上看,寓言和象征具有相似的结构;从历史发展的角度来看,二者的争论至今仍未停止,并呈现出不同的形式特征。因此,阐明寓言和象征之间的复杂关系有助于文学艺术作品正确运用这两种表达方式来丰富作品的意义,和表征世界的多样性。
Allegory and symbol,two basic concepts of literature theory,have been widely adopted by many other art themes.In etymology,they have similar constructions,but through history,contrast between the two concepts has various aspects and forms in different times.Thus,indicating the complicated relation between allegory and symbol can help works of art and literature properly employ the two concepts to illustrate various themes and represent the diversity of the world.
