Filial Piety and Funeral Cultures of Six Dynasties

六朝时期，儒佛道三教求同于孝道，形成了独特而丰富的生死观和丧葬习俗，并产生了大批颇具三教色彩及孝悌内涵的随葬器物。

During the period of Six Dynasties, three religions-- Confucianism, Taoisom and Buddhism all appealed to filial piety. Thus there came a unique and rich view of life and death, customs on death and funeral as well as the funeral objects tinted with the characteristics of these three religions and notions of filial piety.
