随着秦始皇陵园考古工作的不断发展，继兵马佣之后，20世纪90年代末，又在秦陵东南部内外城之间发现了一座“百戏佣”坑，该坑平面是长方形，东西70米，南北17米，总面积约1190平方米，坑底距现地表深约6米。

During May to June of 1999, tens special pottery figurines with different styles of pottery arms were excavated. All are in lively size, some are tall and strong; some are short and slender,which realistically shows the fantastic instant of the actors. It is the first time for thesepottery figurines of actors open under the sun, which discovers a new type of pottery figurine in Qin Dynasty and vividly display the world ofthat time, helping us to know the royal entertainment life.
