摘要
南京博物院艺术馆《明清瓷器陈列》中展出着一件清乾隆朝官窑《御制棉花图》瓷册,瓷册即由瓷板装裱而成的瓷质书籍.《御制棉花图》瓷册是一本极其少见的瓷书.棉花起源于近赤道的热带干旱地区.据考,我国植棉的历史至少可以追溯到2000多年前的秦汉时期.新疆民丰县东汉墓中曾出土了3世纪的棉织品。
