四川省自然资源丰富。但其开发潜力具有两重性:合理开发,资源可永续利用;不合理开发,会导致资源危机或枯竭。该省石油、煤炭后备资源不足,应引起重视。还就黑色金属、有色金属、非金属、能源、水源、耕地、森林、草地等资源的开发前景作了预测。

Sichuan Province abounds in natural resources.But resource exploitation in theprovince implies dual possibilities:one is resources being perpetually utilized underrational management;the other is resources facing crisis or exhaustion because of inap-propriate exploitation.We should pay attention to alleviate the exploitation pressureon petroleum,coal and arable land because the reserve of these resources is inadequatein this province.The paper also for ferrous metals,nonferrous metals,energy resources,water resources,cultivated land,forest and grassland in the provincial development.
