将我国广泛使用的草原拟步甲PlatyscelissulcataBallion名称修订为突颊侧琵甲Prosodes (Li oprosodes)dilaticollisMotschulsky ,比较了两者之间的区别 ;补充描述了后者的形态特征。

The Prosodes (Lioprosodes) dilaticollis Motschulsky is a very important pest beetles which happened seriously on Kunes Grasslands of Xinjiang Uygur Automomous Region in China. But its science name was used Platyscelis sulcata Ballion on long time. In this paper, revised this species name and put forward distinctively characters of them.
