本法旨在于结合全国老龄工作会议精神，进一步阐明《老年人权益保障法》的内容特点，从而发挥对老龄工作的政策指导作用。

This essay aims at further demonstratin of the contents and characteristics of“ The Law for Protecting the Ringhts and Interests of the Elderly” in the light of the National Conference on the Work for the aged in China,and thus to give full play to the guiding effect of the above law on the work for the aged.
