Relevance:Criterion and Interpretation in Translation

本文从关联理论的角度讨论翻译的标准 ,即作为交际活动的翻译 ,对原语的理解和翻译过程中对语码的选择所依据的原则是关联原则。另外 ,本文还讨论关联性在翻译解读中的作用 ,提出译文语篇连贯的重构过程实际上就是译文读者寻找关联的过程。因此 ,在关联理论的框架内 ,翻译是一个对原语进行阐释的动态明示———推进过程。

This paper is a tentative study of applying the relevance_theoretic approach to translation. It presents, from the perspective of Relevance Theory, a detailed account of the criterion in translation and the function of relevance in the interpretation (the inference of intention) in translation.
