摘要
人们一般把词汇和语法看作是外语教学中两个不同的领域。本文认为 ,通过注重词汇的词型 ,我们可以把两者有机地结合起来 ,从而对教学产生促进作用。用词型法进行英文词汇教学可以丰富以前那种单一的词汇和语法教学 ,提高学生的学习动机和课堂参与 ,并且帮助教师去鼓励学生学会更多的地道语言 ,培养他们的语言理解力、语言使用的准确率、以及语言表达的流利程度和灵活程度。
Lexis and grammar are traditionally thought of as separate strands in EFL teaching and learning. This paper argues that the two can be profitably integrated by focusing on word patterns. Such an approach ca n enrich the otherwise impoverished teaching of lexis and grammar, enhance motiv ation and engagement, and help teachers encourage students to acquire more idiom atic English by developing their understanding, accuracy, fluency, and flexibili ty in language learning.
