摘要
在广泛收集语料的基础上 ,用内容分析和因素分析方法探析了中英时间隐喻表征的概念结构 ,获得了时间隐喻概念的11个构成维度 ,证实了时间隐喻表征有着系统的内部结构的假想 ,并发现中英两种文化在时间隐喻概念结构上非常相似。我们认为这表明时间隐喻表征和思维是泛人类认知力的结果 ,这是对Lakoff有关思维与意义关系的经验主义假说的一个支持。
Metaphors are considered as the way we live by and the basis for human cognition, thinking, experience, language and even acts (Lakoff & Johnson, 1980; Honeck & Hoffman, 1980; Haskell, 1987; Carbonell, 1982; Indurkhya, 1992).
