Basing on the mechanism of the polymer flooding, this paper analyzes the factors influencing the effectiveness in polymer flooding, ascertains the changing between water and polymer flooding, making use of the basic distributing rule of the reservoir porous media to investigate the vertical improving effect and degree caused by the polymer flooding, puts up necessary evaluation and analysis to the displacing efficiency and thus provides a theoretical basis and practical analyzing method for the choice and effective evaluation of the reasonable viscosity in the polymer flooding.
