为解决海湾滩涂淤泥作为高等级公路地基的处理问题，在同江－三亚国道主干线宁德境内的两个路段采用了爆炸挤淤的方法，通过两年来的观测已证实，该方法处理工程条件很差的软基有独特的效果，为今后公路软基处理开辟了一种新途径．

A new method-Explosive Stone-Fill is used in treating with marine muck ground in Ningde Auto-only Highway, which is the part of Tongjiang-Sanya national main route. According to the site observation during two years, it has been proved that this method is specially effective in treating with the soft clay ground with very poor engineering properties.
